Iced New Style Mince Pies Recipe
Ingredients
| Frozen vol-au-vent cases - 1 x 1/2-lb packet | ||
| Mincemeat per case - 1 dessertspoon | ||
| Family sweet vanilla ice cream for each case - 1 large spoonful | ||
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
Directions
MAKING
1. Cook the vol-au-vent cases stated by the manufacturer. Brush the cases with egg glaze and then set aside to cool.
2. When the cases have cooled down, fill them with mincemeat, top with ice cream and place a pastry lid on top.
SERVING
3. Serve warm
