Ice Cream Sherbet Cake Recipe

I am sharing this recipe of Ice Cream Sherbet Cake which is near and dear to my heart. It is the perfect choice for Dessert. Try it and feel free to pitch in suggested improvements or variations.

Ingredients

 
1 gallon vanilla ice cream (or less)
 
1 pint orange sherbet
 
1 pint lime sherbet
 
1 pint raspberry sherbet
 
1/4 cup rum
 
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Soften ice cream, add rum and walnuts.
Spread part in a 10" angel cake pan.
Scoop one flavor of sherbet around mold.
Cover with soft ice cream mixture.
Freeze a few minutes.
Repeat with next color sherbet, cover with soft ice cream.
Add next flavor of sherbet ending with soft ice cream.
Freeze.
When serving, unmold and cut in slices - each slice has a cross section of color.
Easy and keeps well.
