Ice Cream Wafers Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup softened butter
1/3 cup warmed honey
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
48 walnut or pecan halves
Directions
Preheat oven to 325° F.Cream butter, honey, egg, salt, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add flour and beat thoroughly with a wooden spoon.
Drop by the teaspoonful onto un-greased baking sheet.
Place nut on each.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
