 Shortening3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
 Sugar2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Potatoes1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed
 Milk1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs2
 Flour 

Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 400-425 degrees Fahrenheit.

MAKING
1 In a bowl, soften yeast in lukewarm water.
2 Scald the milk.
3 Add shortening, sugar, salt and potatoes to the scalded milk.
4 Allow to cool to lukewarm.
5 Combine the milk mixture with yeast.
6 Blend in beaten eggs and flour and prepare a very stiff- dough.
7 On a floured board, turn out the dough and knead well.
8 Put in bowl.
9 Cover with cloth and store in refrigerator.
10 Take as much dough as needed.
11 Shape into rolls, and allow to rise until doubled in bulk.
12 Bake in hot oven for 20 minutes.

SERVING
13 Serve as desired.
