Ice Box Cookies Recipe
Ice Box Cookies is a well loved snack at home. Trust me, there have been fights between my children over this aromatic and yummy Ice Box Cookies! Give it a try!
Ingredients
3 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. butter or margarine
Directions
1. Cream butter, add sugar and beaten eggs, and cream thoroughly.
2. Add sifted flour, soda, baking powder, and salt, then flavouring.
3. Mix well.
4. Roll in wax paper and chill thoroughly.
5. Slice with a sharp knife.
6. Bake 10 minutes on a greased sheet at 375°.
