I Pared The Pear Pie Recipe
Ingredients
5 Bartlett pears
Pastry lined 9 or 10 inch pie tin
Sugar-1 cup for 9 inch, 1 1/2 cup for 10 inch
Flour - 1/4 cup for 9 inch, 3/8 cup for 10 inch
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
Directions
Pare and cut pears lengthwise into halves.
Remove core.
Arrange cut side down in pie shell.
Beat sugar, flour, butter, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour over pears.
Bake in preheated 325° oven for 40-45 minutes.
