Husked Green Bean Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| Green beans | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Mustard seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Red chillies | 6 , broken | |
| Ginger | 2 Inch, chopped | |
| Onions | 2 Medium, chopped | |
| Green chillies | 5 , chopped | |
| Tamarind paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tablet sugar-free sweetener, powdered | ||
Directions
Wash dal, drain and dry in a kitchen towel.
Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan over moderate heat and add mustard seeds.
When they start spluttering, add dal and red chillies.
Fry stirring continuously for 1-2 minutes till dal turns golden brown.
Remove from heat and add ginger, onions, green chillies and tamarind.
Cool and grind to a fine paste.
Mix in salt and sweetener.
Serve with whole-wheat crackers.
