Ingredients

 
1/4 cup chopped celery
 
1/4 cup chopped onion
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 can (about 7 ounces) clams—whole, chopped, or minced, undrained
 
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) cream of potato soup
 
1 soup can milk Pepper, as desired Crumbled bacon (optional) Parsley, chopped (optional)

Directions

Cook celery and onion in butter until tender but not brown. Add clams and juice, potato soup, and milk. Season to taste with pepper. Heat. Serve with crumbled bacon and chopped parsley, if desired.
