Ingredients

 Vegetable oil2 Tablespoon
1 medium-size yellow onion, peeled and thinly sliced
3 medium-size sweet green peppers, cored, seeded, and cut into 1/4-inch strips
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), peeled
 Paprika1 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Sugar1/2 Teaspoon
3/4 pound pork sirloin cutlets, cut into 1/4-inch strips

Directions

1. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a 12-inch skillet over moderately high heat. Add the onion, green peppers, and garlic, and cook covered, for 3 minutes.
2. Reduce the heat to moderate, and add the paprika, salt, and sugar, and cook partially covered, for 10 minutes. Transfer the mixture to a warm bowl and set aside.
3. Heat the remaining oil in the skillet over high heat for about 1 minute. Add the pork strips and cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. 4. Return the onion and pepper mixture to the skillet, and toss until heated through—about 2 minutes. Serve with buttered noodles.
