Hungarian Goulash Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 oz. beef or veal | ||
| 4 oz. pork or use all beef or all veal | ||
| Onions | 2 Large, chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 2 Large, chopped | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | 1 | |
| Paprika pepper | 1 To taste | |
| 1 1/2 pints stock or water | ||
| 2 medium-sized potatoes, diced | ||
| Savoury dumplings | ||
Directions
Cut the meat into very tiny pieces, and put into a pan with the chopped onion and tomatoes, seasoning including the paprika pepper and stock or water.
Simmer gently for about 1 hour, then add the diced potatoes and continue cooking for a further 25-30 minutes.
If liked, garnish with savoury dumplings.
