Hunan Pork Stir Fry Recipe
The hunan pork stir fry is a simple pork recipe prepared with veggies. Skillet cooked with pork strips, cauliflower, green pepper and tomatoes, the hunan pork stir fry is flavored with garlic and soy sauce. Saucy and peppy, it can be served with rice or noodles.
Ingredients
1/2 pound boneless lean pork
2 teaspoons cornstarch
6 teaspoons Lite Soy Sauce, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced and divided
3/4 cup water
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon crushed rod pepper
3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
3 cups bite-size cauliflowerets
1 medium-size green pepper, chunked
2 medium tomatoes, cut intoeighths
Hot cooked rice
Directions
Cut pork across grain into thin slices, then into strips.
Combine 2 teaspoons each cornstarch and lite soy sauce with 1/2 of the garlic in small bowl; stir in pork.
Let stand 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine water, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, remaining 4 tea spoons lite soy sauce and red pepper; set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in hot wok or large skillet over high heat.
Add pork and stir-fry 2 minutes; remove.
Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in same pan over medium high heat.
Add cauliflowerets and remaining garlic; stir-fry 2 minutes.
Add green pepper; stir-fry 3 minutes, Stir in tomatoes, pork and soy sauce mixture.
Cook and stir gently until sauce boils and thickens.
