Hummus Part 1 Recipe Video

This is a real hummus recipe. Follow the simple tips for making a nice creamy hummus. If you don't follow the directions you will not be able to make real hummus. It is important to discard the skin from chickpeas.

Ingredients

 
Roasted red pepper
 
Kosher salt
 
1 tbsp garlic
 
Paprika
 
2 can Chick peas
 
Extra virgin olive oil
 
3 tbsp Tahina
 
Whole lemon
 
Lemon Zest

Directions

Rinse canned chickpeas. Strain out the water.
Take chickpeas in a bowl and fill it with water. Move your hands through the water to remove the skin. Discard the skin.
Once all the chickpeas are free of skin, strain the water and put them in a blender. Add tahini, squeeze juice of 1 whole lemon, add lemon zest and put the lid on.
Pulse the ingredients.
