Homemade Hummus Recipe Video
This is your classic Middle Eastern dip best served with warm pita bread.
Ingredients
chick-pea (canned) 1 cup drained
lemon juice 1/4 cup
olive oil 1/4 cup
garlic clove 2 chopped
salt 1/2 tsp
paprika 1/4 tsp to garnish
Directions
1. In a foodprocessor combine the chickpeas, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and salt. Pulse until smooth. Add a small quantity of water if it is needed.
2. Garnish with the paprika.

Hey foodpsychologist, I think hummus is the best accompaniment to crackers...I sometimes enjoy it with nachos as well...:))

Hummus seems to be a very nutritive dish. Could you please tell how this is eaten i.e. is it eaten as it is or with anything else ? What part of a meal is it included in?
