Hummus Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 garlic cloves, minced and then mashed | ||
| Garbanzo beans | 2 Can (10oz), drained, rinsed | |
| Tahini | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), roasted | |
| Lemon juice | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), squeezed | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pine nuts, toasted | ||
| Parsley, chopped for garnish | ||
Directions
In a food processor, combine the mashed garlic, garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, water, and olive oil.
Process until smooth.
Add salt, starting at a half a teaspoon, to taste.
Spoon into serving dish and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts and chopped parsley.
