Huitres Marinees Recipe
Huitres Marinees is an exquisite marinated oysters recipe. Prepared with a marinade of dry white wine with lemon juice and herbs to taste, the Huitres Marinees is chilled to mingle flavors and can be served as appetizers for elegant dinner parties.
Ingredients
Oysters 16
MARINADE Dry white wine 175ml/6floz
Olive oil 50ml/2floz
Lemon juice 50ml/2floz
Salt and pepper to taste
Dried thyme 1/4 tsp
Dried chervil 1/4 tsp
Chopped parsley 1 tsp
Garlic clove, crushed 1
Directions
First, prepare the marinade.
Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, stirring to blend thoroughly.
Set aside for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, detach the oysters from the shells and put them into a saucepan.
Discard the shells.
Add the marinade and bring the liquid to the boil.
Transfer the oysters and liquid to a serving bowl and set aside to cool to room temperature.
Chill in the refrigerator until required.
