Ingredients

 Flour2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Baking powder1 Teaspoon
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Huckleberries1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Walnuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
 Eggs2 , beaten
 Margarine3/4 Cup (16 tbs), melted

Directions

Sift together first three ingredients.
In separate bowl, beat together syrup, eggs and margarine.
Fold in berries and nuts.
Mix the dry ingredients.
Butter two bread loaf pans and line with waxed paper.
Butter paper.
Spoon huckleberry mixture into pans.
Bake 325°F.60 to 70 minutes.
Cool.
