Vodka Pasta Recipe Video
This is my take on vodka pasta. But this is more of an Alfredo-prima vera-vodka pasta. Try it, you'll like it.
And I really recommend using Sobieski Vodka. It's affordable and tastes great.
Ingredients
* 1 box pasta - Oriechette
* 2 handfuls chopped onion
* 2 cloves garlic chopped
* 1/2 pint cream
* 1 handful pea pods or string beans
* 1 handful cherry tomatoes
* 1 handful grated parmesan cheese
* 4 inches of fresh rosemary
* 1 spoonful of dried basil
* 6 strips of cooked bacon.
* salt and pepper
* 1/2 cup Sobieski vodka
Directions
Cook pasta according to package direction.
Put the pan on medium heat and add butter to it. Add garlic and onions. Cook for 4 minutes. Add vodka. Cook for 2 minutes. Add pea pods. Cook for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes. Cook for another 30 seconds. Add cream. Put heat on low. Add cheese. Add rosemary and basil. Add bacon. Add salt and pepper. Stir well. Turn off the heat. Pour the vodka sauce over pasta.

I am not fond of bacon, so i would like to cook the pasta without bacon. Do you think, if it makes much difference to the taste of the noodles ??
