Penne Bolognese Recipe Video

Ingredients

 
* 400g penne pasta
 
* 500g lean minced beef
 
* 1 carrot, finely diced
 
* 2 tsp chopped fresh rosemary or 1 tsp dried
 
* 500g jar Dolmio extra mushroom sauce for bolognese
 
* 1 - 2 tbsp finely grated Grana Padano or Parmesan

Directions

# Preheat the oven to gas mark 6/200°C. Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling water, according to the packet instructions then drain well.
# Meanwhile, brown the mince along with the carrot and rosemary in a
# non-stick pan for about 5 mins until the juices run clear. Add the sauce and bring to a gentle boil.
# Toss together the pasta and Bolognese sauce and turn into a large
# heatproof dish. Scatter over the cheese and a good grinding of black pepper and bake for 10 - 15 mins until the top is crusty and golden. Serve piping hot
