Homemade Pumpkin Pie Recipe Video
Pumpkin pie is probably the easiest kind of pie to make since there are only a few ingredients in the filling and they are easy to combine by hand. I've vowed not to use frozen pie shells because they just never measure up to homemade and since the filling is so simple to prepare, a little extra effort in the crust department seems like a fair trade. Thanksgiving is just around the corner so why not treat your family to the superior taste and texture of a homemade pumpkin pie - they never have to know how easy it was to make!
Ingredients
2 eggs
398 ml of pure pumpkin
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 evaporated milk
1- 9" unbaked pie shell
