Directions

MAKING:
1)In a large bowl sift the flour and add baking powder and salt.
2)Add the butter and gently rub between your fingers. Continue mixing until butter is mixed in.
3)Stir in the caster sugar. Use a palette knife to mix together.
4)Slowly stir in the milk; this will form nice soft dough.
5)Flour your work surface and place the dough on top. Gently knead for few moments.
6)Gently roll out the dough. Roll out to about 2 cm thickness.
7)Using a 6 cm pastry circle cut as many rings as you can.
8)Place the circles on baking tray and lightly brush with milk.
9)Preheat oven to 210 degrees and bake for about 12 minutes. Remove when golden brown. Allow to cool on a wire rack.

SERVING:
10)Serve with clotted cream and jam and enjoy!
