Sidecar Recipe Video

Here's another one of those classic cocktails, the Sidecar, that seems to have gone by the wayside. One of the few good drinks to emerge during Prohibition It's a rather elegant and well-balanced drink of sweetness and citrus with a solid body of cognac. I'd rather forgotten about it myself but you can be sure it's now back on my list of favorites.

Directions

MAKING
1. In a cocktail shaker, add cognac, triple sec, lime juice along with ice and shake well.
2. Strain into a cocktail glass.

SERVING
3. Garnish with orange wedge and serve chilled.

TIPS:
Rim the glass with sugar or add simple syrup into the drink, if you wish.
