Homemade Hamburger Recipe Video

If you love beef, then chances are you also love a great hamburger. Here's my recipe for a burger that truly honors the beef. You should try this at least for once!

Directions

Season beef with salt. Lightly mix meat and salt with your hands.
Make burger patties with your hands.
Put a pot on a medium-high heat.
Add canola oil to the pot.
Add onions to the pot.
Season with salt and pepper.
Let them sit for a couple of minutes.
Stir the onions.
Turn down the heat. Cook for 15-20 minutes.
Add balsamic vinegar to the onions, stir well.
Turn off the heat.
Put a cast iron pan over high heat.
Add few drops of bacon drippings to the pan.
Add patties to the pan. Cover with a lid.
Cook for 3-3 1/2 minutes to each side.
Put a patty over a bun.
Add a cheese slice and caramelized onions over the patty.
Cover with another half of the bun.
