Hot Wine Sauce For Game Birds Recipe

Ingredients
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Red currant jelly | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1 Pinch | |
| Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
| Cloves | 3 | |
| Port | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Simmer all the ingredients except the port and cornstarch for 5 minutes.
Strain and add port.
If desired a little bird gravy may also be added but first skim off as much fat as possible.
Add cornstarch to thicken.
Serve hot.
