Recipe Story

If you're looking for a quick, easy dish for a party, or for a night after a busy day, this Hot Shrimp dish is a great one. Easy prep, toss it in the refrigerator to marinate, and after a few minutes on the grill you're sitting down to eat. This is a great dish to use as an appetizer for a party crowd, too.

Ingredients

2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and de-veined

4 Tablespoons Tabasco (or other hot sauce)

½ stick butter, melted

1 teaspoon garlic salt

½ cup lemon juice

Directions

Preheat grill to medium heat.

Combine hot sauce, butter, and garlic sauce; mix well and marinate shrimp in the mixture for at least 2 hours. Heat until the butter melts again and drain, reserving the sauce. Add lemon juice to the sauce and set aside for basting. Place shrimp on skewers and grill for about 3 minutes on each side, or until done, basting with the sauce once on each side.

Serves 4 – 6.
