Hot Plum Compote Recipe
Ingredients
| Plums | 1 Can (10oz), pitted | |
| 1/2. cup Madeira wine | ||
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1/4 cup chopped orange | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Drain plums, reserving 1 cup syrup.
In a 1 1/2 qt.glass casserole dish mix together plum syrup, wine and cornstarch.
Microwave 2 to 4 minutes or until clear and slightly thick.
Stir every minute during cooking.
Stir in plums, lemon juice, orange and salt.
Microwave 4 to 6 minutes or until hot.
Stir once during cooking.
