Hot Pineapple And Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
2 tbsp. butter
2 cups fresh pineapple cubes
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/8 tsp. mace/nutmeg
1/3 cup orange juice
Vanilla ice cream
Whole strawberries
Directions
Melt butter in large heavy skillet.
Add pineapple cubes and cook gently until lightly browned.
Add sugar and mace or nutmeg and cook gently until sugar is melted and bubbling.
Stir in orange juice.
Continue cooking gently, stirring, until sugar mixture is syrupy.
Serve hot over scoops of ice cream and garnish with whole strawberries.
