Ingredients

 
4 slices bacon
 
1/4 cup chopped onion
 
1/3 cup vinegar
 
1 teaspoon sugar
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
Dash pepper
 
2 cups shredded cabbage
 
1 pound halibut fillets or other fish fillets, cooked and flaked (2 cups)

Directions

In skillet fry bacon till crisp.
Drain bacon, reserving drippings.
Crumble bacon; set aside.
In same skillet cook onion in drippings till tender.
Add vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper; bring to boiling.
Stir in cabbage and flaked fish.
Cook, tossing lightly, just till heated through.
Turn into serving bowl; sprinkle top with reserved crumbled bacon.
