Hot Green Bean Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Canned french cut green beans | 32 Ounce, drained | |
| Sugar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Vegetable oil | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Purple onion | 1 Medium, thinly sliced | |
| Water chestnuts | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced | |
| Pimento | 4 Ounce, sliced and drained (1 Jar) | |
| Bacon slices | 4 , cooked and crumbled | |
| Lettuce leaves | 4 |

Directions
Combine sugar, vinegar, and oil in a small mixing bowl, and pour over green beans.
Cover and chill 1 hour.
Drain beans.
Add onion, water chestnuts, and sliced pimiento, toss gently.
Spoon into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole, and sprinkle bacon over top.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Serve hot over lettuce leaves.
