Hot Crab Canapes Recipe

Ingredients

 
8 slices white bread
 
1/2 cup flaked crabmeat
 
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
 
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
 
1 tablespoon grated onion
 
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
Chopped fresh parsley

Directions

Cut each slice of bread into 4 decorative shapes using l 1/2-inch cutters.
Place cutouts on ungreased baking sheets, broil 6 inches from heat for 1 minute or until lightly browned.
Cool.
Combine remaining ingredients except parsley, mix well.
Spread crabmeat mixture on bread cutouts.
Sprinkle with parsley.
Bake at 425° for 5 to 7 minutes or until bubbly.
