Hot Crab Canapes Recipe
I grew up eating this Hot Crab Canapes frequently and am happy to share this recipe with you. Trust me, once you taste this Hot Crab Canapes you are bound to prepare it again!
Ingredients
8 slices white bread
1/2 cup flaked crabmeat
1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon grated onion
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Cut each slice of bread into 4 decorative shapes using l 1/2-inch cutters.
Place cutouts on ungreased baking sheets, broil 6 inches from heat for 1 minute or until lightly browned.
Cool.
Combine remaining ingredients except parsley, mix well.
Spread crabmeat mixture on bread cutouts.
Sprinkle with parsley.
Bake at 425° for 5 to 7 minutes or until bubbly.
