Hot Brown Sugar Sauce Recipe
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), heated|
|1/4 cup whisky or brandy, optional|
|Nuts||1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
Combine brown sugar and butter in small saucepan on low heat and beat using an electric hand beater. Gradually add hot cream, still beating over a low heat until it boils. Remove from heat, beat in whisky or brandy if using, and lastly add nuts.
