Hot Bacon Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

 
4 slices bacon
 
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
 
2 tablespoons water
 
1 tablespoon sugar
 
1 egg, beaten

Directions

Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon, reserving drippings in skillet.
Crumble bacon, and set aside.
Add vinegar, water, and sugar to skillet; bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Gradually stir one-fourth of hot mixture into beaten egg; add egg mixture to skillet, stirring constantly, until blended.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in bacon.
Serve dressing warm over salad greens.
