Ingredients

 Seedless raisins1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Currants1 Cup (16 tbs)
 15 hot peppers
 16 to 18 c. green apples
 Chopped ginger1 Cup (16 tbs), preserved
 Garlic5 Clove (5gm), minced
 Salt3 Tablespoon
 Vinegar2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Brown sugar7 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Grind raisins, currants and peppers; pare and chop apples.
Combine raisins, currants and peppers with ginger, onion, garlic, salt, vinegar, sugar and 1 cup water in large kettle.
Bring to a boil; boil for 45 minutes.
Add apples; reduce heat.
Simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until fruit is transparent.
Seal in sterilized jars.
