Hot Turkey Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Carrots | 2 Small, thinly sliced | |
| Onion | 1 Medium | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 3/4 teaspoon snipped fresh thyme leaves or 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed (optional) | ||
| Turkey gravy | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Sliced cooked turkey (about 1/2 pound) 4 diagonally sliced pieces Italian bread | ||
Directions
In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot margarine, cook carrots, onion, celery and thyme until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in gravy.
Heat to boiling.
Add turkey.
Heat through, stirring occasionally.
Divide turkey and gravy mixture evenly among bread slices.
Stir in gravy.
