Hot Tomato Jam Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup tomato juice
1/2 bay leaf, crushed
1/2 tsp hot red pepperflakes
1/8 tsp Tone's ground mace
1/8 tsp onion, minced
1/3 cup apple juice
4 tsp Slim Set jelling mix
Directions
Combine the tomato juice, bay leaf, hot pepper, mace, and onion in a saucepan.
Bring to the boil; reduce heat and simmer for 7 minutes.
Remove bay leaf.
Add apple juice and jelling mix.
With a wire whisk, stir to dissolve jelling mix.
Bring back to the boil and boil for a minute.
Pour into serving dish or clean jar and allow to set.
