Hot Texas Chili Recipe
Now, Hot Texas Chili as the name suggests must really be tasting hot. And that is exactly why I like this Hot Texas Chili dish. Mouth-watering!
Ingredients
3/4 pound boneless beef, trimmed and diced
1 tablespoon oil
1 cup onions, sliced thinly
1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
15 ounces canned tomatoes
8 ounces canned kidney beans
Directions
1) Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions and green peppers for 10 minutes. Add the beef and cook over a medium flame, approximately 10 minutes, 'until brown.
2) Mix in the salt, pepper, garlic, chili powder, and tomatoes. Cover and cook over a low flame for 2 hours. Add the kidney beans and cook another 15 minutes.
