Hot Spinach Puffs Recipe
Ingredients
| Frozen chopped spinach package | 1 , squeezed | |
| Seasoned bread crumbs | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| 1/4 cup fat-free egg substitute | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| 1 tablespoon reduced-calorie margarine, melted | ||
| Ground nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Hot Chinese, spicy Dijon or honey mustard | ||
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the spinach, bread crumbs, onions, egg substitute, cheese, margarine and nutmeg.Mix until well combined.
Form into 20 balls.
Spray a cookie sheet with no-stick spray.
Place the balls on the cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
