Ingredients

 Water1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Sugar1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
 Lemon1 , sliced
 Orange1 , sliced
 Whole allspice12
 Whole cloves12
 3 inch cinnamon stick1
 Burgundy/Dry red wine25 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Bottle)

Directions

MAKING
1. In a Dutch oven add water, sugar, lemon slices, and orange slices.
2. In a cheesecloth bag add the spices and tie.
3. Add to the sugar mixture and boil.
4. Decrease heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
5. Stir in wine and bring to boil.
6. Decrease heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
7. Remove the spice bag.

SERVING
8. Serve hot.
