Hot Senegalese Recipe
Hot Senegalese has a great taste. Hot Senegalese gets its taste from flour mixed with chicken broth and cream. Hot Senegalese is inspired by many food chains worldwide.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
2 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup canned sweetened applesauce
2 cups chicken broth (canned or freshly made)
2 cups half-and-half (half milk, half cream)
Salt
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/8 teaspoon ground coriander
Directions
Melt butter and add celery and onion; cook until soft.
Blend in curry powder and flour; gradually add applesauce, chicken broth, and half-and-half.
Heat to simmering and cook gently, stirring, for 4 or 5 minutes.
Season to taste with salt.
Pour into heat-proof bowls.
Softly whip the heavy cream and stir in coriander.
Spoon equal portions of cream onto each bowl.
Broil about 6 inches below heat until cream browns (1 or 2 minutes).
