 Apple cider1/2 Gallon
 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
 1 1/2 teaspoons balsamic or cider vinegar
 Vanilla1 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon stick1
 Whole Cloves6
 1/2 cup applejack or bourbon (optional)

Directions

Combine all ingredients except applejack in large saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in applejack.
Pour into punch bowl.
