Hot Italian Plum Compote Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 large Italian purple plums | ||
| Ground cinnamon | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Orange juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla extract | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Barley malt sweetener to taste | ||
Directions
Wash the plums, cut in half, and remove the pits.
Put them in a saucepan with all the remaining ingredients except the barley malt sweetener.
Bring to a boil, remove from the heat, and taste for sweetness.
Add barley malt sweetener, if necessary.
