Hot Herb Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter margarine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chives | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Minced parsley | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), lightly packed | |
| Basil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 2 loaves (1 lb. each) French bread, split lengthwise | ||
Directions
Cream butter with chives, parsley, and basil.
Spread on bread halves and reassemble loaves.
Wrap each tightly in heavy-duty foil and place on grill 4 to 6 inches above a solid bed of low-glowing coals for about 10 minutes.
Cut into 2-inch-wide slices.
