Hot Crab Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 pound cooked crabmeat | ||
| 1 cup 4 oz. shredded Swiss cheese | ||
| 1 jar 2 oz. diced pimentos, drained | ||
| 1/3 cup each mayonnaise and finely chopped green bell pepper | ||
| 4 slices firm-textured white bread Butter or margarine, at room temperature | ||
Directions
In a bowl, mix crabmeat, cheese, pimentos, mayonnaise, and bell pepper until well blended.
Meanwhile, toast bread.
Spread each slice lightly with butter; then top evenly with crab mixture, spreading it out to edges.
Place sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil 6 inches below heat until bubbly and heated through 3 to 4 minutes.
Eat with knife and fork.
