Ingredients

 3 dozen large clams in the shell
 Bottled clam juice
 Butter2 Tablespoon
 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped
 Pimiento1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), mashed
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 Ground pepper1 Dash
 Toast squares

Directions

Scrub clam shells well.
Open clams and remove.
Save and measure clam liquor.
Add enough additional clam juice to make 1 1/4 cups if necessary.
