Hot Cider Recipe
Ingredients
| Apple cider | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 cinnamon sticks (3 in.) | ||
| Whole Cloves | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 2 env. aspartame sweetener | ||
| 2 tsp rum flavoring | ||
Directions
In a small saucepan, heat the apple cider, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and nutmeg until boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer gently for 5 to 6 minutes.
Remove from heat; then remove cinnamon sticks and whole cloves.
Stir in aspartame sweetener and rum flavoring.
Pour into two preheated cups or mugs. (To preheat mugs: Pour boiling or very hot water into mugs, allow to stand for 1 to 2 minutes, then pour out hot water and fill with drink.)
