Ingredients

 8 chicken thighs, skinned, boned and cut into bite-sized pieces
 Cornstarch1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vegetable oil1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Ripe tomato1 Large, cut into pieces
 Water chestnuts1 Can (10oz), drained
 Sliced mushrooms1 Can (10oz), drained
 Green onions1 Cup (16 tbs), coarsely chopped
 1 cup diagonally sliced celery
 Soy sauce1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Monosodium glutamate1 Teaspoon
 Garlic powder1/8 Teaspoon
 Iceberg lettuce2 Cup (16 tbs), finely shredded
 Orange slices, for garnish
 Hot cooked rice

Directions

Dredge chicken, one piece at a time, in cornstarch.
Heat oil in wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken; stir-fry about 3 minutes or until browned.
Add tomato, water chestnuts, mushrooms, green onions, celery, soy sauce, monosodium glutamate and garlic powder.
Cover; simmer 5 minutes.
Place lettuce on large serving plate.
Top with chicken mixture; garnish with orange slices
