Hot Cheese Dip Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Whipping cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| American Cheese | 2 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Cream cheese package | 1 , softened | |
| Parsley | 2 Teaspoon, snipped | |
| Assorted chips or vegetable dippers | ||
Directions
In 1 1/2 quart casserole, combine onion and butter.
Microwave at high (10) 1 to 2 minutes until onion is tender.
Blend in cornstarch, pepper, cream, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
Microwave at high (10) 2 to 3 minutes, until slightly thickened and bubbly, stirring every minute.
Add American cheese, cream cheese and parsley.
Microwave at high (10) 2 to 4 minutes, until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through, stirring every minute.
Microwave at high (10) 1 to 2 minutes until onion is tender.
