Hot Cheese Chip Dip Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 slices bacon, cut in 1/2-in. pieces | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| American Cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), shredded | |
| Chili powder | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Wheat Chips or Rye Chips, crackers or crisp vegetable relishes | ||
Directions
Place bacon in 1-qt casserole or small microwave-proof bowl.
Microwave at High 2 to 3 minutes, or until almost crisp, stirring once.
Drain off fat.
Stir in onion.
Microwave at High 2 to 3 minutes, or until onion is golden, stirring once.
Sprinkle with cheese and chili powder.
Do not stir.
Microwave at 50% (Medium) 1 1/2 to 3 minutes, or until cheese is melted, rotating 1/4 turn every 30 seconds.
Serve hot with chips, crackers or vegetables.
