Hot Buttered Rum Recipe
Hot Buttered Rum is simply a delicious alcoholic drink. A deadly combination of butter and rum will surely tempt you to prepare this Hot Buttered Rum on every party!
Ingredients
1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon water
1 1-inch piece cinnamon stick
2/3 cup apple cider, milk or water
1 jigger (1 1/2 ounces) rum
1 teaspoon butter or margarine
Nutmeg
Directions
Dissolve sugar in water and apple cider in a heat-resistant, non-metallic mug or cup.
Add cinnamon stick.
Heat, uncovered, on full power 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until it comes to a boil.
Stir in rum.
Top with butter and a sprinkling of nutmeg.
