1 package (10 ounces) frozen blackeye peas
4 slices bacon, diced
2 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup uncooked converted rice
Directions
In covered saucepan, heat all ingredients except rice to boiling.
Reduce heat; cook 20 minutes.
Stir in rice; cook 25 minutes longer or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
