Hoosier Country Scrapple Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 c. ground cooked pork | ||
| 1 c. ground cooked beef | ||
| 1 c. ground cooked liver | ||
| Broth | 4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornmeal | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Sage | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
"Combine pork, beef, liver and broth in saucepan; bring just to boiling point.
Dampen cornmeal with small amount of water; stir into pork mixture.
Add salt and sage.
Boil, stirring constantly, until thick.
Pour into 2 loaf pans; chill for 12 hours.
Slice; fry in lightly greased skillet.
